Every project begins with how the space will be lived in, then we layer in plants, materials, and structure that feel natural, durable, and quietly refined.
Based in the city and inspired by it, we design gardens that soften concrete, invite pause, and make everyday life feel a little more grounded.
Urban Oasis Landscaping was founded by partners Maya Chen and Alex Rivera.
Urban Oasis began with a feeling we both recognized.
We were working in the city, often in apartments filled with care and intention, and then we'd step outside into spaces that felt forgotten. Concrete balconies. Quiet rooftops. Doors that rarely got opened. People would tell us they wanted to use these spaces, they just didn't know how.
We knew that feeling well. We live in the city too. We know how much a small patch of green can change a day.
Maya designs with plants and light in mind, focusing on calm and restraint. Alex builds with durability and use at the center, making sure each space works in real city conditions.
We didn't set out to build a big company. We just wanted to do this work carefully.
To slow down and design spaces that felt calm rather than crowded. To make balconies and patios that invited you outside instead of asking for effort. To create gardens that felt like they belonged, not like they were added on.
Urban Oasis is our way of making space in the city, for plants, for people, for moments that don't need to be rushed.
